How to Measure 2D

• Create 2D drawings with all measurements projected on a plane.
• When the job is empty, the first two measured points define the drawing alignment with the first point at 0,0,0.
• Create multiple vertical and horizontal planes in the same job.

2D Horizontal	2D Vertical

1. Start 2D Horizontal, 2D Vertical or activate a plane in Planes.
2. Select a target type in Targets Menu.
3. Activate a layer in Layers.
4. Select the object type in Measuring Settings .
5. Measuring without any target:
   Aim using laser or the Live View.
   Measuring with a target, for example vPen or vPole:
   Go to the point.
6. Tap Measure or trigger the measurement with the remote control.

2D view – only one plane visible	3D view – multiple planes visible

☞ Control Points are visible only in the 3D view if the job contains only planes. The view will switch automatically when starting a new setup.

☞ An instrument connection is required.
