Layout Facing the Instrument

Use the instrument as the guidance orientation during layout.

• Move towards or away from the instrument and left or right when looking to the instrument.
• The drawing view continuously aligns with the navigation arrows and the direction towards the instrument.
• Precise navigation bullseye view is activated when approaching the point (0.5 m / 19.7 in).

a) Navigation bar

• Forward or Backward
  • Move towards or away from the instrument.
• Left or Right
  • Move left or right while facing the instrument.
• Up or Down
  • Move higher or lower to adjust the height position.

b) Destination point

• Point the navigation guides to.

c) Store

• Confirm the current position and store the layout quality.

d) User’s position

e) Precise navigation bullseye

• Graphical representation of the distance from the destination point.
• As soon as the bullseye changes the colour to green, the layout tolerance is achieved.

Precise Navigation

1. Lock on a target.
2. Select an element from drawing. Refer to How to Layout a Point with a Target and How to Layout other Elements with a Target .
3. Tap Layout.
4. Turn with the tablet towards the instrument.
5. Follow the navigation on the Navigation Bar until the precise navigation bullseye and values changes to green.
6. Tap Store to save the layout quality information.
