Scan Types

Horizontal 360°

  • Measure a full 360° scan
    with all points at the
    same height.
  • The first point defines the height of the scan.
  • The instrument moves in clockwise direction.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

Horizontal Point to Point

  • Measure a scan between two points, with all points at the same height.
  • The first point defines the height of the scan.
  • The instrument moves in clockwise direction.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

Vertical Perpendicular 360°

  • Measure a full 360° scan with all points on the same vertical line.
  • The scan line is always perpendicular to the wall.
  • The instrument always moves up.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

Vertical Free 360°

  • Measure a full 360° scan with all points on the same vertical line.
  • Two points are required to define the direction of the scan line.
  • The instrument always moves up.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

Vertical Point to Point

  • Measure a scan between two points with all points on the same vertical line.
  • Two points are required to define the direction of the scan line.
  • The instrument always moves up.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

Sloped

  • Measure a direct scan between two points on a wall.
  • The instrument moves in clockwise direction.
  • Follow the steps indicated in the software.

 

Additional Options:

Interval

Change the spacing between measurements.

Offset, only for horizontal scans

Move the scan higher or lower. For example to measure at the exact height of the countertop, measured from the floor.

Skip

Skip a measurement.

Pause

Stop a scan temporarily.

Start

Resume the scan.
