vTargets (auto)

Position the instrument using vTargets.

• The instrument autonomously detects and measures vTargets available in the job.
• vTargets must be previously imported or measured, for example with Capture vTargets tool.
• Follow the steps indicated in the software.

☞ This setup method is only available for iCS20 and iCS50.

☞ This setup method is only available if the drawing contains two vTargets.

☞ To increase the setup quality, place the instrument in the centre of the targets.

☞ To increase the detection rate and accuracy, place the instrument more or less perpendicular to the target. The laser measurement accuracy decreases when the target is tilted more than 45° from the instrument.

☞ The software automatically finds the best combination of measured targets to achieve the best setup quality.

☞ Using at least three targets is recommended.
